Who is HaShem?

Quite simply, Hashem is a Hebrew term for the Triune God. It means “The Name.” In the Bible, the Hebrew word for God is made up of four letters (YHWH).

There are many other names for God in the Hebrew Scriptures, including Adoshem, Yah, Yahweh, HaKadosh Baruch Hu, and El Shaddai.
